It's 1987 and Los Angeles' famous Sunset Strip is proving to be a magnet for aspiring rockers and small town girls with big city dreams.
Drew — a bus boy with plans for rock superstardom, is first to notice Sherrie — a sweet newcomer to the Strip fresh from Kansas. Sadly, love's never easy in a heady world filled with shady characters and constantly under threat from those who frown upon sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll.
Will Drew become a big-haired rockstar, save Sunset Strip and get the girl of his dreams? Or will he end up just another rock washout?
